I now have 77 points and I am getting worried as it may suggest I know 77 points worth of maple.
However, all my points come from asking questions.
I wonder whether two types of pointing should be created: one for very grateful receivers such as I and one for all you wonderful givers - thank you - who are prepared to shed light on so many questions.
Just a thought.
i am almost sure
i am almost sure that those answering (if having time and interest) do not even need points or awards but mostly may prefer something like "thank you, that helped me", if it is honest
not to worry
Without questions this site would be much less useful, and less interesting. A good question elicits good responses, and is just as valuable.
Good questions
Joe writes, "A good question elicits good responses, and is just as valuable." I find that almost all questions are valuable, including frequently asked questions and ones from novice users. They often help developers figure out what's confusing, complex, easily misunderstood, or poorly documented in Maple. If a question arises often enough, especially from users who'd already made a serious attempt to understand the issue, it makes us think about whether the user interface or documentation can be improved. So, Brian, rest assured that your post is worthy of a MaplePrimes point.

Points
I agree with what has been previously said on this topic.
Do notice that you are not the 'questioner' with the most points! What this does show though is that you are quite serious about learning Maple. I tend to go out of my way to give thorough answers (when I have them) to questions from 'serious learners'.
