You have options to open tabs in separate windows or move existing multiple tabs into separate windows.

Can we add an option to combine tabs into one window?

Can't you simply select the contents of one window (worksheet or document), copy to the clipboard, and paste in the other window? (Depending on what is going to be copied, you might want to remove all output prior to doing this.)

Unless I am missing something, I do not see that there is a need for a special menu item for this task.

I have found countless bugs by trying to copy-paste from one worksheet to another. The variations are endless. Copy all sorts of objects (individually and on their own) and try to paste them somewhere quite specific in a target worksheet. The end-results range from exactly right to spectacularly wrong. And the wrong ones can be rather entertaining too, as trying to puzzle out what has happened can be non-trivial.

Just so no one gets me wrong: I agree with Doug that there does not seem to be a big need for such a piece of funcitonality. But there might be a need for a few bugs to be fixed before one can say "oh, just use copy-and-paste" with a straight face!

I agree. I affraid that Maple has a lot of problems with copying part of worksheet to another. it is xml format and the selection that is copied is not copy correctly from xml. Then if you paste to another worksheet the xml format is not valid and the view has a big problem. The best practice how copy worksheet to other is use Markers and copy by parts (document paragraph).

Users from my country complain of these problebs a lot and it is the reason why they use classic worksheet (classic client).
