&lt;p&gt;Yes, the reference he refers to is an older publication. This student does however use the most recent version of Maple. It seems that as a result of his enjoyment of Maple, he researched its history and came across this publication. For someone wanting to learn Maple procedures, this publication, although dated, is still a good resource. We have however pointed him to a more recent publication, i.e the Maple Programming Guide, available in our &lt;a href="http://www.maplesoft.com/documentation_center/"&gt;Documentation Center&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;</itunes:summary>
