As a teacher, I use several models of TI calculators (TI-83, 84, 86, 89) and am familiar with each. However, at my desk, I still keep my wonderful HP48GX that I used in college. The HP48GX (and earlier an HP48SX) will probably be my favorite calculator for a long, long time. I like the RPN, the programmability, the tactile feel of the buttons. I see that HP has a new graphing calculator and I may have to try it out. Maybe I'll get a new favorite.
