<itunes:summary>
The inclusion of maptype is curious. Near as I can tell it is not used in any Maple library code.

Learning about bind won't be easy--it isn't documented. A loosely related and also undocumented procedure is _pexports.

The process package is deprecated.
</itunes:summary>

And more

      <itunes:summary>
maptype should be used, it's a pity it's not. typematch is seriously under-used.

process is deprecated, as is nargs, args, etc. There probably are some modern features of Maple which should be there as well (like of the funky options for map, evalf and whatnot). The issue is that I have not personally done any serious Maple programming in a while, so I am up-to-date with Maple 11, but not as fluent in the more recent versions. Definitely the Threads package should be added to that list above. I am sure there is more.
</itunes:summary>

information in the errors

      <itunes:summary>
@Joe Riel

A method that I use to get some information about undocumented, builtin routines is producing errors. Moreover, I have found that error messages provide, sometimes, even better information than the documentation itself. In this case:

bind(a=b);
Error, bindings of the form a=b only allowed in `use` statement

bind(a);
Error, `a` is not a module or member

bind(a,b);
Error, `a` is not a module or member

bind("a");
Error, no bindings were specified or implied

Anyways, the obsession for undocumentation is beyond my comprehension.
</itunes:summary>
