Hi

Just started using the global optimization toolbox. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if it is genuinely awful. After about 20mins it produces a fit that is dreadful,an alternative cheaper package (scop) produces a great fit in about 2 mins. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

Hallo dear proffesionals of Maple

I use Debian 4.0 r3 version with gcc compiler v 4.xx

I have installed properly in my computer the Maple 11 version.

the problem is :

I want to have a solved example of linear programming model in maple software or any other software that has linear programming model

Hi, I have a trouble in handling MathML in worksheet published by MapleNet. A simple worksheet published on the following page works fine. http://mapleoracles.maplesoft.com:8080/maplenet/primes/worksheet/256_int_math.mw However, same worksheet published on my own MapleNet server does not work nicely. http://thomas.phys.cs.is.nagoya-u.ac.jp/maplenet/App/int_math.mw

Bonjour

It’s a pity that Maple does not offer easy ways to plot the region between two curves in the xy-plane. The option “filled=true” can only plot the region between the curve y=f(x) and the x-axis.

I am using the ODE analyzer to look at the numerical solution to a second order ODE of the form 0=-uc'-kc+Ec" with u=.3, k=.0001 and E=10, and with conditions, c(0)=2 and c'(20,000)=0. When I try the solve numerically, I get an error message saying "unable to convert input to a first order system. Recieved error: too few boundary conditions, expected 5 got 2." What am I missing?
Hello, I am trying to draw a static plot in JSP (without java needed on client ). I am sure that the command is OK, I wrote it according the example in manual.
<maple:statement type="plot" height="200" width="400">plot(x*x,x=-1..1,y=0..1)</maple:statement>
But this error appears in browser:
MapleNet JSP Error Error in maple:statement (Reference # 1196078978052) cannot_convert_results Please try again.
I looked into logs and there is an error:
... 2007-11-26 13:09:37 StandardContext[/maplenet][org.apache.jasper.runtime.PageContextImpl@6e82254d] maple: statement: to Maple -plot(x*x,x=-1..1,
Hallo, I would like to run my worksheet document (.mw) on MapleNet server. Unfortunately, I have always got this error message "Maple Worksheet - Error, Failed to load the worksheet /maplenet/kriz/taylor.mw". I found MapleNet Demo on our server (http://melian.ics.muni.cz:8080/maplenet/worksheet/) but with the same error result. Maybe there is some problem on our server, but me and our administrator don't have any idea to correct it. Thank you for help. Regards Pavel Kriz kriz@math.muni.cz Masaryk University Czech Republic
Hello, I am given a question in the form f(x)=x^delta sin(1/x) if x does not equal zero, and f(x)=0 if x = 0. the question goes on to say, where delta > 0, we know that f is continous at x=0, but is differentiable at x=o only when delta > 1. it asks me to use maple to provide evidence for this using MAPLE,s graphing features. I am not sure how to input this into MAPLE. Could someone please help? thank's a bunch I think i posted this in the wrong section before.

Hi all, Here are my questions: 1) How do i perform small-angle approximation (linearization) on a nonlinear DE using Maple. This is necessary to create a state-space representation of the DEs. By small-angle approximation i mean that: sin(theta(t))=theta(t) cos(theta(t))=1 theta(t)^2 = 0 theta(t)*alpha(t)=0 and so on.... I tried using manual substitution using the "subs" command. It is not a very feasible method. I have tried "dsolve" command. Not what i want since i only want to linearize the DEs and not solve for a particular angle. 2) My second question is regarding defining outputs of the "DiffEquation" command. Usually it will go:
I am using windows vista but with office 2003. I am also using maple 11 with the 11.01 build. On installing maple excel addin I have this error: 'VBE6EXT.OLB' could not be loaded. Clicking OK gives another error: 'Unexpected Error (50001)' Now I can't even open the VB Editor. I get the error message: 'Out of Memory' Any help? Thanks.
I would like to set up library(s) of routines that can be accessed as part of MapleNet applications. MapleNet applications are prevented from doing file i/o unless you specifically "unprotect" your server. Is there a way to set up libraries on my web server to safely get around it? Or is there a way to include my library routines while I'm building my maplet application, without copying and pasting in the source?
