I don't know if command "Explore" exist in Maple 13, you can use

Explore(plot(cos(a*x^2)+x)); # for example with skip x

which does not work for me ...

neither in classic (accepted, at least almost & with no message at all)

nor in standard (resulting in a 2nd 'tabed' window, showing nothing ...)

using M15 in both cases

Explore = perfect!

the Explore command works beautifully. Thanks! Its not *exactly* what I hand in mind, but it'll definitely do the trick.

I can't figure out how to make it use decimals though - a number between 0 and 1. I remember certain times in Differential Equations when a number might range from 0 to 0.5. Any ideas how to make that happen? The "use floating point" didn't change anything that I noticed.

When you execut the command for a range 0 to 1, you should enter the range for a, as:

0 to 1. (float) and not 0 to 1
