Have you looked at "save as maple input" = *.mpl?

It would also avoid the problem of classical /standard interface,
it can be read with any text editor.

doesn't work.

For example

> restart;
> interface(verboseproc=2):
> eval(`fsolve/sysnewton`);

and within number of formats via "export as" in best case it only writes

proc(eqns, vars) ... end;

as if verboseproc less than 2

This is a problem with Standard GUI "Export as". No such problem with the CLI or the Classic GUI.
