<itunes:summary>
The situation you describe is all too familar, and you describe it perfectly! Techical Support always ignored my inquiries on this matter. Typical.

But I have not encountered this problem with MapleTA 5, yet it was a real headache in MapleTA 4.

When this happened, I removed/deleted the user. Things usually worked out by some miracle.

Sometimes students enroll in a class and the system manages to classify them as a "guest" instead of a "student." The correlation between this and the situation you describe is positive.
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
Alex, I assure you that our Technical Support does not "ignore" request from our users. In fact, you've taken it upon yourself to post our email responses to you on this forum several times. So we're definitely not ignoring you.

As I've mentioned to you before, perhaps your email is misconfigured. It looks you've had trouble in the past receiving emails from both Technical Support and the Maple T.A. hotfix mailing list . It might be more productive for you to contact me directly rather than relying on your MaplePrimes postings to launch complaints. I can work with your network administrator to make sure your email is configured properly and that no messages from us get blocked. If you'd like to contact me directly my maplesoft.com email address is blaarakkers. I look forward to hearing from you.
