Can you give a little bit more information on what you are doing? I am running M12 on XP; if I simply open a new Document and select Insert > Code Edit Region, it works for me. It's possible that there's something corrupted in the document you were working with - if you open a brand new Maple session, can you get it to work then?

This is what I do. Start maple 12, create a blank document and "Insert"->"code edit region", then nothing happened. I'm using winxp sp2, simplified chinese edition.

Hm... what you are doing *should* work. I don't have access to that version of Maple so I would suggest contacting Technical Support and having them look into it for you.
