I don't work on the GUI team, and so I don't really have a horse in this race; I am just providing my honest advice on how to get the best Maple experience on a modern platform.

It was not a personal answer and thus not intended to offend you (and was not posted as a sub-answer IIRC).

And it is by no means rude, if users insist to use their prefered interface and want to have that still enabled in further developements.

But we can talk about that in a separate thread.
