Maple 16 update

Just wanted to let everyone know that the fix provided for the plotting problem discussed here is now available as a Maple 16.02a update. This update will be available through Check for Updates and through the Maple 16.02a download page.

regressions should be fixed within versions 16.03

If there is a regression in an update it should be fixed within the same version and not left as an open bug in current versions.

Since 16.01 update is no longer available and 16.02 is the only option. It would be very much appreciated by the mapleprimes community and maple users to see a 16.03 update.

Assignment using old version of question bank

I've several versions behind but I getting a strange behavior. I created an assignment using the eco0 question bank. Later this assignment was passed to a class a semester later. The question bank eco0 was updated. As the instructor, using the review button on the assignment shows the new version of the question bank. As a student, the assignments are getting the old question bank question. The students didn't start the assignment until after the questionbank change.(I think I'm using version 4.0.)

16.03 update still a possibility

Based on past releases, after Dec 31 any hope of a 16.03 update becomes very very slim.

You see, any last issued updates (back to Maple 11) have all happened before the turn of the new year. And should we make it into the new year without one last update then we can almost be certain that Maplesofts focus is all on the next major release, Maple 17.

There is always hope, that a few more loose ends can be tied up before the next major release, however...

We have just released Maple 16.02 and MapleSim 6.01.

Maple 16.02 includes updated platform support, enhancements to the Physics package (including fixes to problems first reported on MaplePrimes - thank-you), connectivity to the latest version of MATLAB and Visual Studio , as well as some efficiency and interface improvements. Help With prcLeastSquare

I wrote the following code but am stuck on how to Update prcLeastSquareLA, so it does what prcLeastSquare does.

I believe you have to add error estimate information in prcLeastSquareLA but I have tried to no avail.

Maple no longer computes integrals after Ubuntu Upgrade to 12.04

Sorry, I understand that my question sounds crazy, but that's what happened:

I had a working Maple program and Maple 15 installation on Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit

After I updated to Ubuntu 12.04 , Maple 15 starts, but returns almost all (except most primitive) integrals unevaluated.

My old working worksheets not return all integrals unevaluated.

Same with Maple 14.

I have no idea what could have happened...

I am a little disappointed in the update frequency of Maple.

Maple 15 saw one relatively minor update and I don't foresee any more updates for this version before the next release which is unfortunate. Then again, was Maple 15 refined so good that it didn't need much fixing? Something tells me no, but please enlighten me otherwise.
