<p>Application of MapleSim in Science and Engineering: a simulationbased approach</p>
<p>In this research work I show the methods of embedded components together with modeling and simulation carried out with Maple and MapleSim for the main areas of science and engineering (mathematics, physics, civil, mechanical etc); These two latest scientific softwares belonging to the company Maplesoft. Designed to be generated and used by teachers of education, as well as by university teachers and engineers; the results are highly optimal since the times saved in calculations are invested in analyzes and interpretations; among other benefits; in this way we can use our applications in the cloud since web technology supports Maple code with procedural and component syntax.</p>

<p>Application developed using Maple and MapleSim. You can observe the vector analysis using Maple and the simulation using MapleSim. Also included a video of the result. It is a simple structure. A pole fastened by two cables and a force applied to the top. The results are to calculate tensions one and two. Consider the mass of each rope. In spanish.</p>

<p>It is a very good computational tool to perform modeling and simulation using our world as a reference. You can also teach math knowing how to choose the right icons.<br>
I recommend this software to everyone who wants to simulate objects or multibodies. In any case, knowledge of physics and mathematics, especially vector mechanics, is necessary.<br>
Very grateful to the Maplesoft company for sharing their projects through the MapleSim gallery.</p>

<p>I run a MapleSim model from Maple. The simulation runs fine giving me the correct graphical plots, but I wonder how could I obtain also the numerical values of the probes vs. time? Sorry I could not figure it out. A matrix format would be perfect: 1st column time, the other columns probe 1 .. n values vs. time. (Files attached)</p>

<p>I have set up a simple 2D RC network with 1 lookup table current source, and a few probes. The model runs fine. Now I wanted to run it from Maple, and followed carefully a MapleSim tutorial which exlained how to establish the link between Maple and MapleSim. I added a worksheet called RCNetworkMaple.mw and run the A := MapleSim:-LinkModel(): command. Then I wanted to run the simulation with the A := Simulate() ; command, but nothing happened, Maple returned A := Simulate(). What did I wrong? In the tutorial it runs perfectly. (Files attached.)</p>
