For a 2D parametric plot with only one parameter, in Maple we use plot([x,y,range]) but what about the case x and y are expressed by more than one parameter? How should I assign the range? For example I tried the following one

h := k[1]*k[3]+k[1]*k[4]+k[2]*k[4]:
x := k[2]/h:
y := (k[3]+k[4])/h:
A := seq(k[i] = 1 .. 2, i = 1 .. 4):
plot([x, y, A]);

But then I encountered the following error:
Error, (in plot) incorrect first argument [k[2]/(k[1]*k[3]+k[1]*k[4]+k[2]*k[4]), (k[3]+k[4])/(k[1]*k[3]+k[1]*k[4]+k[2]*k[4]), k[1] = 0.1e-2 .. 1000, k[2] = 0.1e-2 .. 1000, k[3] = 0.1e-2 .. 1000, k[4] = 0.1e-2 .. 1000]

For one parameter the above method doesn't make an error like the following:

x := t+1:
y := t^2:
A := t = 1 .. 2:
plot([x, y, A]);

So for more than one parameter, there should be another way to ask the plot. Does anyone know how to do that?

Good day, I need to 2D plot from points which I get by solving numerically 17-degree equations. Firstly I take an only first solution of the equation as below, and I have a Matrix with 3 column which represents X, Y, and VALUE respectively. On the left side should be the first column ( X ), and right axis Y (2. column). As seen from Matrix X and Y getting the value between 0 and 10. Is there any option that I can plot my data in 2D?  Thanks in advance.

points := seq(seq(seq(Fun[n, i, j], n = 0 .. step), i = 0 .. step), j = 1);
Mat := Matrix((step+1)^2, 3, [points]);
         .                             X                  Y                 VALUE
pointplot3d(Mat, style = point, color = black);

dear all,

how can I plot

in (u,v)-plane

where x from 0..1

Hi,I'm using Maple 15. When I plot with the command

Aplot:= Plot2D(Q[2 .. 26, 13], Q[2 .. 26, 14], style = point, color = blue, symbol = solidcircle, symbolsize = 16, font = [Arial, Bold, 13], axes = box, axis = [thickness = 1, tickmarks = [5, subticks = 5]]);

There is the report of problem

Error, (in plot/options2d) unexpected axis suboption: thickness = 1

Thank you for helping me.

I need to plot a function:

f(1.0) gives a correct result but plot doesn't. Could you help me with it?
