Maple Player seems like it could be an outstanding piece of software, yet with the new operating system for Ipad, the program crashes immediately. I am unable to find any solutions. I also stumbled across a post in which Maplesoft is no longer providing support for the APP. Is this true?

I have an ipad air 16G running ios 7.0.4 and downloaded the MaplePlayer APP.  t seems to crash on several of the routines for example, "Approximaing Sphere" and "Linear System Tutor". The app was last updated in 2011.  Do you have plans to any upgrades plan in the near future?

An attendant at the zoo has a bag of peanuts to feed the monkeys. If the nuts are shared equally among the

7  monkeys in the first room, or among the 11 monkeys in the second room, there will be 3 nuts left over. If the nuts are shared equally among the 13 monkeys in the third room, there will be 10 nuts left over. but if the nuts are shared equally among all the monkeys in all the three rooms, there will be none left over. how many peanuts does the the attendant have?

I think this is an awesome demonstration of Maple's plotting abilities. The first thing that comes to mind is that this worksheet could be used to promote the new Maple Player.

I have been having difficulties getting the Maple Player to start on my laptop.  PIII 933 Mhz Win XP 752Mb RAM

Initially didn't work so I tried to uninstall (not an option in the program files list - needed to be run from the folder) at which point I came across JVM not detected.  So I had to download and install the latest Java.  At that point the uninstall process was okay.

I re-installed and still was unable to start the player. ...
