Regarding the grey line above the working area, you are absolutely correct.  That space used to hold the context toolbars which are now replaced by context ribbon tabs.  Our intent is to reclaim that space and are actively working on it.  The issue is the control for hiding/showing the right context panel.  Keeping that control or something similar while removing the grey bar has turned out to be more of an issue than anticipated.

Regarding Line Style, Color, and Delete when drawing, the ability to change the line style of a selected object or delete a selected object on the canvas should be fixed in the Maple 2025.1 release due soon.  The outline color selection does impact the drawing of any new object, but there remains a known problem with it changing the color of a selected object.

@Geoff the lack of support for 'snapping' in Windows is a known limitation of the new user interface that we are hoping to address in a future release.

Hi @Geoff.  Having Maple start with the ribbon minimized is not currently supported.  In a future release, we intend to support retention of the minimized/maximized state of the ribbon across Maple sessions.
