Search is definitely going to be improved in the new MaplePrimes. We will be making use of Maplesoft's Google Mini Server, which offers all of the power of Google's search, but lets us integrated it completely into the site.

The search in the Online Help is implemented the same way we'll be running the search on Primes.

We are pulling from a number of existing websites`reputation systems to build the system for MaplePrimes. We`re definitely not starting from scratch.

What do you mean by "not working"? All of the worksheets I have tested, work fine with the "View live worksheet on MapleNet" link

As I pointed out above, I have fixed this issue.

I fixed the problem with the <math> tag that "destroyed" the thread.

Yesterday we also updated Oracles to use MapleNet 13 and put it on a more powerful server, which should imporve Oracles.

For the French, you problably clicked on a link to a French page, causing a cookie to be set switching you to the french version. You can switch back to English by clicking "English" at the bottom of the Maplesoft site.

The <math> tag caused problems rendering the page. I fixed the problem with that tag. Also, you should have used the <maple> tag as you didn't enter MathML. I switched the tag to <maple>

The ? syntax is currently limited to terms that contain only letters and have no spaces.

If you want to put in a hyperlink straight to the help, you can change the input format to "Worksheet html", which won't do the filter that adds the automatic help hyperlinks.

This feature will be improved in the new version of Primes, and will also have a dialog for entering more complex help terms.

We haven't re-ordered anything. The "who's new" and "who's online" are still in the same places

Yes, we hope this upgrade will fix that issue as well. We'll have to wait and see to verify the issue is gone.

Our IT department did work on Maplesoft's e-mail server last night. This work released a number of e-mails that were stuck in a queue. This shouldn't happen again.

Primes has been inconsistent sending out e-mails lately. We hope that moving to the new server (which will happen in the next couple of weeks) will solve the e-mail problem.

Of course, once we rewrite the site to the new platform, we'll have better control over the e-mail functionality and we'll be able to better diagnose the problem.

As I've said though, in a web browser with only HTML and JavaScript, we're only able to get the plain text version of the clipboard. Try pasting from Maple into Notepad or some other text editor, that's what we have to work with.

Also, in JavaScript we can't detect when someone pastes in, so we can't immediately take action on it. If someone just pastes from Maple into the editor, it'll just appear as plain text.

Fortunately, Flash provides a drop in, Rich Text Editor Component that we'll be able to use with minimal additions, so developing a custom Flash editor won't be too difficult.
