The problem is that you entered the math using the <math> tag. That tag is for MathML. I corrected your post to use <maple>, which now works.

We have not deleted your post. I am not able to find it either, but I'm not sure what to search for in order to find it.

The only posts we delete are obvious spam or duplicates or when the user requests the post be deleted.

True, we have not yet fixed the bug. It is a low priority since the upload button in the editor is now the easiest way to get images into a post.

It sounds like this is a problem particular to you. I haven't heard about anyone else having the same issue.

What kind of extensions do you have installed in Firefox?

Thank you for sending us this information. I sent this immediately to our IT department and they verified that MaplePrimes is clean of all viruses and worms.

It appears that Norton Antivirus sometimes detects FCKEditor (The WYSYWIG editor used on MaplePrimes) as a threat and throws the error, “HTTP MSIE Multiple Style Tags Code Exec.”  This is a known issue and more details can be found here: http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/1662. In other words, the error that you are seeing is a false positive, and MaplePrimes is not doing anything malicious.

Thanks again for bringing this to your attention, and I hope this resolves any issues you have with security on MaplePrimes.

Hello all, it's Will, your friendly neighbourhood web developer.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad that you generally like the site.

Regarding the speed of the site. The speed issues don't have to do with the speed of your connection. Becuase of all of the different pieces of data that we are displaying throughout the app center, it takes a while to render the page on our web server.

The good news is that we have a new web server coming soon that will speed up all page views on Maplesoft.com, including the application center.

The 500 error that acer saw should be a temporary glitch caused by us making tweaks on launch day.

As I know that a lot of you are application authors, I thought I'd like to talk about the new submission process. You now, no longer need to provide us with an HTML version of your application. We do the HTML conversion for you automatically as you submit.

Also, authors now have the ability to make changes to their applications. All changes will need to be approved by Maplesot, but it definitely makes it easier to update your apps.

Finally, you can also include as many files with your application as you want. So you could have multiple worksheets. Different versions of worksheets. Or other associated content.

We hope that the changes make the app center a lot more flexible and useful for application authors.

I was able to reproduce the problem by attempting to upload a file that is too large. What happened is the page showed that there was an error, but it also listed my last uploaded file, which I think is the source of the error.

Does this match up with your observations?

I think that Jacques just doesn't want to make the trip down the street to visit our office. ;-)

The module that we are using for the notifications, subscriptions does not have the ability to notify you only once a day. I haven't seen a module that offers the same functionality and also lets you lump the subscriptions into a single daily digest. If someone knows of a Drupal module that does what we want, I'd be glad to try it out.

You are correct that the "once a day" preference is only for the private messages.

You cannot delete files from the file manager. However, you can mark them as private so that no one can see them.

Simply go to the file manager at http://www.mapleprimes.com/filemanager and click on "Set private" for the files you wish to hide.

I don't know how the file manager could upload the wrong file, my guess is that you selected the wrong file to upload. Were you able to get the right file uploaded?

I apologize for the downtime over the weekend.

We just set up some monitoring on the site that will let me know when the site isn't responding correctly so that I can correct the problem, so this should not happen again.

The best way to share your Maple articles are as blog posts here on MaplePrimes. We don't have a refereed journal, but that should not stop you from sharing your content with the community here.

Signatures only appear in comments, not in inital posts.

Unfortunately, there isn't a Drupal setting to change this. And I haven't been able to find a module that does it. (I haven't looked recently though)
