The maple tags are meant to be used to create 2-D math. They work around expressions like sqrt(x^3*Pi) If you want to display commands, I suggest the <pre> tag.

Can you please add the .mbook file to a .zip archive and then upload it? The uploader does support .zip

I cannot say too much, but the project that I am about to spend a lot of time working on will bring lots of big improvements to the app center.

I updated your post using the File Manager to convert it into a Maple worksheet. This will allow people to download the worksheet and try it themselves on their computer.

You can write in Maple on MaplePrimes as you can see here: sum(cos(x^2)/sin(exp(y)),x=1..infinity) The members of this site are very helpful and of course, there is no where else to find people as experienced in working with Maple.

Most Maple worksheets should work in MapleNet without you having to change anything. I'm not sure why your plot worksheet does not work. I'll pass it on to someone on the MapleNet team. As for deleting files uploaded here, the site does not allow you to delete files because it is possible that you would upload a file, post a link to it on the site and then delete the file, causing a broken link. What you can do is mark a file as private, then it will no longer be visible to anyone other than you. To do this, go to the File manager and click on "Set private" next to the file you wish to hide.

Indeed the reason that blog entries are removed from the front page is because we do not want nefarious content to appear on the front page. Unfortunately, the system does not have the concept of a drafts folder. Usually when a blog entry is removed from the front page, I put it back up there right away.

The problem with setting Plain text as the default input format is that none of the special features of MaplePrimes: and tags, as well as importing HTML converted worksheets work without changing the input format. I think it should be possible to modify the Filtered HTML format to detect when someone inserts an angle bracket mistakenly. Once I get a chance, I plan to look into that. ____ William Spaetzel MaplePrimes Administrator Software Developer, Maplesoft

Actually there is only one installer for all Windows versions. Both the XP and Vista versions appear in the same file.
