Hmm, I guess I forgot to upload the new version of the File Manager when I wrote that blog entry. You will now no longer be able to upload HTML files to the site. Sorry again for the restriction.

MaplePrimes intends to keep all old content posted by users indefinitely. We have no plans to ever delete any content posted to the site. However, we do not guarantee that content will stay on the site forever. So if you want to guarantee that all content is saved, I recommend that you keep a local copy. You can access all posts that you have ever made at this link.

I wonder if the problem is that you are using old bookmarks for MaplePrimes. Please check the domain name that appears in your address bar, does it show "beta.mapleprimes.com"? If so, please change your bookmarks to link to "www.mapleprimes.com". This should solve your login problems.

I have never experienced this. What URL does the browser go to when you press Login the First time? Does this happen every time, or only every once in a while? Btw, Firefox 2.0 is now out

The reason for the Maple Equation statements instead of your Math is beacuse the HTML converter does not support all types of Maple equations. But if you download the worksheet or view the file on MapleNet, you will see all the equations.

I meant to specify this in my previous comment. Maple does not use Qt for any interface. What you get by using the command I entered above, is the only other Maple interface.

I always use "end do" and "end proc". You can use just, "end", but that does make your code more difficult to read.

Did you log into MaplePrimes using your Maplesoft.com information? When you do that, the site grabs your information from the Maplesoft.com database and updates your profile with that data. If you go edit your Maplesoft.com profile, you will probably see that you have Tennessee Tech listed as your institution there. I am surprised that it erased your other profile data and signature though, I'll will look into that. The empty page coming from clicking on "Dr." is a known bug that I am working on. Sorry for the trouble

There is only one interface for versions of Maple prior to Maple 9. So you are using the Classic interface which does not support the mouse wheel. If the mouse worked for you before, it is possible that you were actually using a newer version of Maple. If you wish to use the Mouse Wheel, you should consider upgrading to Maple 10, you will find many other enhancements in addition to the ability to use your Mouse wheel. Maple 6 was released in 1999, so you are using a very old version.

Could you please post this as a blog entry? This would be a great post to promote to the front page. The forums are for asking questions, blogs are for sharing content, tips or stories. Thanks!
