"cannot creat the java virtual mechine"!! urgent

Hi,

My maple 11.02 appears to have some problem of lunching...

I can start Classical Worksheet though, but not Maple 11...

 

error:  cannot creat the java virtual mechine

 

I have tried to re-install Maple after uninstalling ,however it dose not help..

 

someone has any suggestion?

The first suggestion would be to contact Technical Support.  They may be able to help you faster if this is urgent.  Also, for this sort of question, it would be very important to know the operating system that you are trying to install on and possibly which installer you are using (especially if this is a Linux installation).

You could contact Maplesoft Technical Support either by going to the following page to fill in a webform or email them at support@maplesoft.com.  The hours of operation for Technical Support is 9am to 5pm (Eastern), Monday to Friday except on Canadian holidays.

 

As for this issue, I cannot remember anything that would be causing this with the information that is given.  It is possible that Technical Support may have some ideas.

Hi,

Sounds like it's a problem with your Java (I had a similar problem with another program that required java).

Java are aware of the problem - try the solutions that they have on their website, they worked for both of my laptops (but follow the instructions exactly) --> http://java.com/en/download/help/

i have already did a Ghost recovery...
