I installed Maple 11.00 on my Vista pc and noticed the Save/Open options werent working along with the file menu. I was advised to update to maple 11.01 which i did and there was no effect. I downloaded this file "http://www.maplesoft.com/contact/webforms/vista.aspx" and installed it without uninstalling the previous version. When I try to uninstall Maple 11 i gett an error message saying "An error occured while uninstalling" So i cannot uninstall it. Someone suggested to delete the Folder in the program files and erase all registry entries, which i did. When i try to install the downloaded version, i get an error message saying "A previous version of Maple 11 was detected, Please uninstall as known problems will occur"...and sadly i cannot uninstall as the program data is already deleted. I am totally stuck and i have coursework to do. Any suggestions? Thanks.
