The Windows Vista version of Maple is not intended to run on Windows XP. Windows Vista is being treated as a different platform, so Maplesoft will be offering both a Windows XP and a Windows Vista version of Maple.

Thanks for the post. I just promoted this to the front page. I also made a few small edits and inserted links to the article and to Dr. Thorp's Wikipedia article.

There is not currently a way for you to see how many times your file was viewed. We aren't currently tracking statistics on the file manager. The reason that you did not receive the option to view the worksheet on MapleNet or have it converted to HTML is because it was uploaded in .mws format. The MapleNet and HTML conversion features only support .mw files.

User 0 is the anonymous user. If you look at the post by user 0, you see that this was from the Anonymous user. Probably, the original author of the post asked me to delete his account, so the site changed the author of his post to the anonymous user.

statistics.csv contains the information for all posts to the site, including blog entries, pages and forum posts. The only thing that it does not include is comments, which I included in comments.csv This data is from the beginning of MaplePrimes including when the URL was still wamp.mapleprimes.com

The last file that I posted did not include comments, which would help to explain the discrepancy in the number of posts. This file is the statistics for comments posted to the site: Download 1_comments.csv
View file details You can check to see what name corresponds to a user id by navigating to www.mapleprimes.com/user/USERID So this, http://www.mapleprimes.com/user/1 is my page. One thing, that I'm not sure that everyone here understand is that the Maple score, the number next to a person's username, is not the total number of posts. It is the total score, you get different points for performing different actions on the site, as you can see by clicking on anyone's score.

Here is a CSV file that contains all of the posting IDs, user ID and date posted Download 1_statistics.csv
View file details I have no problems posting this since it would have been possible for you to scrape this data from the website anyhow. I am interested to see what sort of statistics you can get from this data.

If you drag the triangle on the bottom right of all entry boxes on MaplePrimes, you can change the size of the box. Do you see the triangle? If not, you may not have JavaScript enabled.

I just put in a request for Wikia to create a new wiki for Maple. Wikia is a wiki hosting service that runs on the same software as Wikipedia, so it should be quite useful for what you want. I will let the community know once the Wiki is available. (I guess this comment, about the Maple Wiki, is the one putting me over the edge to 700)

Look at that, I am two points away from 700. So It'll only take two comments...

I didn't even notice that that feature is gone. I don't know where it went. I certainly see the value in having the number of views available and will look into bringing it back.
