I am impressed at how quickly and intelligently the MaplePrime community acts to help others with Maple questions.

The proposed work-around solutions are all good.

Of course, algorithms with acceptable logic and syntax should not produce incorrect results with no warning or error flags.  

Perhaps the difficulties with multi-sums can be fixed within the core procedures of Maple in the near future.
