If I wanted to use the xt procedure in another dsolve, how would I go about getting it into a form that Maple understands?

i.e.:

p(t):=t+1:

deq2 := diff(y(t),t) = p(t) + xt(t)

dsolve({deq2,y(0)=0}, numeric, 'output = listprocedure'):
