Thanks for very quick responses to my question. For instance adaptive=false solved it like a charm. Could it be that the plotting algorithm is fooled by the branch point singularity of at z=0? If it tries e.g. to Taylor expand, it would cause problems. Anyways, my problem is solved thanks to you.
