I was able to use the boundry conditions to create a matrix that I think should work. When I use linear solve or any other type of solution method, the bottom nodes are negative temperature and 0 degrees is not reached until about halfway up the brick. However, if I copy the two matrices into matlab, and use A\B, I get the correct solution with all zeros for the first 31 nodes. Does anyone know why this would be, and how to do this backslash in maple. ...
