I had responded to a maplesoft application where data to a .mw worksheet was no longer available and had asked them to find and fix it.

I would have hoped a response would have been put here to mapleprimes to find the data.  Unfotunately the data could not be found and the application was deleted from the application center.

It was Analyzing Data files in Maple - Maple 10 and Maple Net - Nov 7, 2005

Here is the link http://www.maplesoft.com/applications/view.aspx?SID=1685  which of course is no longer available.

Luckily I found the data in my own archives and have reposted it here, hopefully maplesoft can restore the deleted data from their application center .

Analyzing Data Files in Maple

© Maplesoft, a division of Waterloo Maple Inc., 2005

Introduction

One of Maple's greatest strengths is analyzing data. The data can come from many different sources such as the internet , a database, user input or a data file .

This application allows you to load a data file. The application will then fit a curve to the data, find the maximum point in the data and calculate the area underneath the curve.

First, from this drop down box, choose a file and click on "Load File"

This will cause the below plotter to display the points in the data file in blue, and the fitted curve in red.

This application can be modified to allow users to upload their own files to be analyzed. You can also extend the application to perform analysis specific to the task that your users would like to perform.
