I'm trying to install Maple 11 in a 64 bit Archlinux system.  The licensing software is only 32 bit, even though Maple itself is 64 bit.  All I needed to do to get around that is install 32 bit glibc libraries (pacman -S lib32-glibc for any Arch users)

Now Maple recognizes my license, but when it opens all I get is a blank, white screen.  CLI Maple works fine, but for my uses I really need the graphical worksheet.  I'm guessing it's a problem with the Java Runtime Environment, and it's been suggested to me in the Archlinux forums that I can replace the Maple JRE with the system's JRE and it works fine.  Does anyone know how to do something like this?
