Question: Converting between derivative forms

I was curious about converting between the different ways of writing a derivative in maple for the standard GUI.

I can convert y' to D(y)(x) but I cannot directly convert y' to the form d/dx y(x) unless I go to the
tools->options->display and change the typsetting level to maple standard and reprocess the line.  We are stuck with either one form or the other but not both without having to adjust the typsetting level in a worksheet  for lines we want in y' form and lines we want in d/dx form..  Unless I am missing something perhaps there is a way to force maple to produce a standard maple output in the extended mode?

However it is implied that y' is d/dx y(x) so why on earth would one use both.  Isn't it rare since one usually sticks to either one form or the other?  I am only saying as a visual or even personal preference why one would want to switch between the two in a worksheet.  Well, maybe I am more comfortable with d/dx form or I like the simplified y' form.  What if I'm creating a tutorial for students and dance between the two forms as often as I use the space bar?  I'm just questioning the idea.  Is there another way and what are your opinions?
