I seem to recall some code that converted 2d math into an easier readable format in modified 1d ascii text?  Can anyone direct me to such a post I can't find it nor can I recall how it was done?

I am not referring to lprint.

For example g^2/5*a should be shown as

     2
  g
-------
 5 * a


It's a pain to have to type it out by hand.
