Question: Entering expressions in Forums

Maple's powerful notation allows you to enter math expressions that look natural.

The following steps will show you how easy it is to write expressions.

Example 1:  Write   2*x/5

  1. If you're on the Student Center forums, click on the red maple leaf to insert maple math expressions.
  2. Enter: 2*x/5 in the Maple Tag
  3. When you click Save, your expression will appear as 2*x/5

Example 1:  Write  int(x^2,x)

  1. If you're on the Student Center forums, click on the red maple leaf to insert maple math expressions.
  2. Enter: int(x^2,x) in the Maple Tag
  3. When you click Save, your expression will appear as int(x^2,x)

But if you're using Maple 12 and you want to enter more complicated expressions, open the attachment
and browse through the helpful Maple Student Portal.
