He was raised by his mother, his father having left when he was young. He is currently in a relationship with Millie Thea Hart. Millie is the same age as him and works as a screenplay writer. Garth's best friend is a personal trainer called Adrian Thomas. They get on well most of the time. He also hangs around with Emmy Beck and Anika Frost. They enjoy hockey together.
