The world's wars are won with massive war machines, referred to as Wanzers in 2090. Huffman Island is the location that there is an Oceania Cooperative Union, (O.C.U.) is found. Huffman Island is only island where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) as well as the Unified Continental States are allowed to coexist. and U.C.S. share a land border. It is an area of intense conflict. A O.C.U. reconnaissance unit headed by Captain Royd Clive is assigned to look into an U.C.S. munitions plant. The U.C.S. attack them. They are ambushed by U.C.S. They are ambushed by Wanzers. This sets off a chain of events which plunges whole island into war. Royd's fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action. Royd is released from army service, and sets off to find out what happened to Karen. His quest leads him closer and closer to the plot behind the incident and the operatives who have orchestrated the incident.
