Dear all,

How can I insert mathematical notaions in Labels when plotting figures ? I never encounter this problem, but now it is urgent for me to resolve it. In labels, I depict the meaning of axes and need to use some mathematical notatioons. If someone knows how to realize it , please inform me ASAP. Thank you very much !

Assuming you have Maple 11 or later, enter "?plot,typesetting" to get the help page that describes how to do this using the command line. You can also do it interactively by using the "Plot/Axes/Labels/Add..." menu items to add and/or edit labels, or just double-click on an existing label. Once you are editing the label you can use the whole power of the 2D editor to enter math.

I am grateful to Prof. Clayworth for kindly help. But I only have Maple 10 . I have searched help page for realize it. But I failed. Could you know how to do it with Maple 10 ? Thank you very much !

That feature was added in Maple 11, I'm afraid. And thanks for the title, but I'm a software developer not a professor.
