Eigenvalues, Eigenvectors, and Eigenspaces

Hi,

The attached worksheet shows three methods in which you can use Maple to find eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and eigenspaces of a given matrix.

Maple's Context Menu allows you to immediately obtain the eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and characteristic polynomial of a matrix
Maple's Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors Tutor allows you to see the step-by-step computation of the eigenpairs
The worksheet also contains a stepwise solution for how to find the eigenpairs if you were doing the calculations by hand
