This blog post does not really have that much to do with Maple a little bit about mathematics though.

I started to play around with www.stumbleupon.com/   and some quite nice things came out from it

I have not yet research the accuracy of such made claims but the below charts certainly makes you think....

 

1) Why does America spend so much money on war ?  


2) How could anyone fail to realize that 8.5 Trillion of US morgage payments was going to default ?

 

The second point is were the mathematic comes in.


Another article www.wired.com/techbiz/it/magazine/17-03/wp_quant  claims that the Gaussian Copula


was the source of the 2008 credit crises. It is well know that complex mathematics can force anyone into


submission but did the Gaussian Copula really cause the credit crisis ?!
