Question: Coloured in regions of a polar plot?

Hi all,

Is there any way to fill in colour to a polar plot using Maple 16? What I want to do is essentially make a coloured in pie slice using a defined radius and theta range.

I am aware of the function filled, which adds colour starting from the x-axis but that is not appropriate in this situation. I know of the filledregions function but that only works for implicit and contourplot, and as of yet I have not been able to use implicit because what I want coloured is not really a function (more just a simple range of r=0..1, theta=0..Pi/2 for example).

I also saw this post: http://www.mapleprimes.com/questions/128128-Is-There-A-Way-To-Have-Filled-Or-Coloured, I tried the solution suggested by Preben Alsholm but I was unable to edit it the code to get what I am looking for. It forms an asymmetrical pie slice with the code given, but if you modify the t range it totally loses the desired shape for reasons that are beyond me.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much!
