Question: PDE system - change of boundary conditions mid-solution

Hi I am in the process of solving 4 coupled PDEs, with their associated ICs and BCs and have obtained solutions up to a time t=T, but at this time I need to change one of the boundary conditions on one of the dependent variables from a value condition to a gradient condition. 1) Can this (structural) change in the BCs at t=T be built into the set of BCs set right at the start of the running the solution, and if so how? 2) If not 1), can I take the solution at t=T as an initial condition for the solution for t>T, and then define the new set of BCs for t>T as needed and then run this as separate solution? If so, how do I capture the solution set at t=T and insert it as the initial condition set for the t>T run? I feel that that either or both of 1) and 2) should be possible, but would very much welcome tips from those who may have faced this type of problem. MRB PS: I am using Maple 13
