Hi,

I try to solve the folowing task:

Simulate the behaviour of a skyscraper with eight floors during an earthquake. (assumption: cosinus stimulation). Determine the resonance frequency of the skyscraper. When does it collapse. Ignore damping.

I tried a lot and I become really desprate because I can not solve the task. Please help. This is what I calculated with maple until now (see file). View 16983_earthquake.mw on MapleNet or Download 16983_earthquake.mw

Maybe you have an idea how I can continue to get the resconance spectrum and so on.

I am looking forward to read all of your ideas and advices to improve my solution.
