I have this equation:

$2.3 = .5/(1+exp(-.3*i[2]-.5))+.7/(1+exp(-.6*i[2]-.3))$

When I atempt to solve for $i[2]$ this is the answer I get:

$i[2] = -.6907679197+10.47197551*I$

What is this I? I do not understand what is going on.
