For instance...

x:=[0,1,2,3,4,5]

y:=[0,2,4,6,8,10]

How can we now define the function y(x) and use it in further calculations?

@Rouben Rostamian  My question is about initial conditions given numericaly (not analytically), i.e. when u(x,0) is an array [u_1, u_2, u_3, .. u_n-1, u_n]. Can this be incorporated in pdsolve?
