I have tried to read chapter 15 on parallel programming, and find it very confusing. I have bought a apple computer with 16 core. As the program which I wrote still run very slow, I want to use parallel programming to speed it up.  Should use different processes, or different threads?

I want to solve these five equations for regular solutions (z[i]≠ 0,∞,z[i]≠z[j]) , or find its resultant as function of z=z[1]. These are not the kind of equations in paper of Carlo DAndrea., where the variables are rather symmetric in each equation.  Here the symmetry is very different
