I mean by "the derivative of f" 
the first derivative of f(t,y(t))=y(t)-t^2+1 with respect to the variable t because y' = y-t^2+1  .

so, I want to obtain this result :

f'(t,y(t))=d/dt (y-t^2+1) = y'-2t = y-t^2+1-2t
