Afsane Jetha’s career in finance began at Merrill Lynch and Wasserstein Private Equity. She went on to gain additional experience at Permira in London as an integral member of the consumer team. Afsane graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, earning her BS in Economics. She is a fourth-generation Tanzanian and holds her MBA from Harvard Business School. Afsane co-founded Alta Semper Capital in 2015, and she has maintained professional and philanthropic ties in East Africa.
