The above command will work, but the arrows from each of the DEplots commands overlay each other when you use the display command to combine them.  For each DEplot command, the option arrows=none should be used so the display is clearer.

plots:-display(DEplot(ode1, q(t), t = 0 .. 8760, [q(0) = 0], title = "contaminant accumulation in the first year",arrows=none), DEplot(ode2, q(t), t = 0 .. 17520, [q(0) = 17520], title = "contaminant dissipation in second year",arrows=none));

The other problem is that only the first title is displayed.

Thank you.  I wasn't sure if I was using the command correctly, that's why I asked.

Hello Doug, the image below (.jpg) was uploaded using your steps.  I use Firefox on a WinXP system @ home.

You use 2*x^2-5*x-3 for the function.  Notice the * between 2 and x and 5 and x

The following scans were from a folded flyer that came with my first purchased version of Mathcad.  Mathsoft  was also selling Maple at that time.  The flyer is not 8.5x11 when it is unfolded so the scan did not come out to well, but you can see most of the details.

I may be misinterpreting what you are looking for.   See attached.

When you assign a plot to a variable, you have to use the "display" command to view it.  And you usually end the command with a colon, not a semicolon.  See the attached worksheet.   If you use with(Statistics); with(LinearAlgebra); then you should not be using with(linalg);with(stats[fit]);  These are deprecated.  The worksheet was created in Maple v12 classic, that is why it has a .mws extension.

 A slight mod to your worksheet to add animation.

Based on the comments from above, it looks like our wishes and desires haven't changed much from a year ago.

Could you post your worksheet, or cut and paste the code that created this spacecurve?  That might be helpful in determining a "fix", if one exists.
