@Markiyan Hirnyk I'm using the ?SolveTools/PolynomialSystem command, and passing my inequations in the 'notzero' parameter.  I'm interested in complex representations and it looks like ?SolveTools/SemiAlgebraic solves over the reals?

@Carl Love solve(...) behaved just fine under Maple 9.5, but I no longer have access to that version.  I've noticed the described behavior with both Maple 11 and Maple 16.
