Thanks to both @Kitonum and @Carl Love!

I've combined your answers and ended up with the following solution:

expr := 544*x-228412+1836*y-1296*z = 0

solution := icontent(lhs(expr))*``(lhs(expr)/icontent(lhs(expr))) = rhs(expr)
