Would you be kind to help me with the attached Maple file procedure. In the worksheet I have three (3) yellow equations that I’m trying to program in Maple that will yield a result in a matrix-form as alpha below the equations.
All the diagonals are 1.0 which means that at each reference pile location when i = j the result is 1.0, that is if i = j then alpha_tmp[i,j] = 1.0, elif eta[i,j] = 0.0, then aphla_tmp[i,j] = aplha_1[i,j], elif eta[i,j]= 1.57 (radian) then
alpha_tmp[i,j] = alpha_2[i,j],elif eta[i,j]<> 1.57 and eta[i,j] <> 0.0, then alpha_tmp[i,j] = aplha_3[i,j]. I have written a procedure in Maple to do exactly that, but I was having error messages.
Please see if you could help with the procedure. Also I would like to know if the same problem can solved using Maple element-wise operator to acheieve the same result.
