 Let f(x) = 0.25x4 0.913x3 + x2 0.175x 0.5, for x 2 [1, 2].f(x) on [1, 2].x coordinates only) of y = f(x) on [1, 2]

fsolve(.....

(1) Determine all the points of inflection (

D(f)(2);

Thanks for your help i still don't understand the points of reflection

Let f(x) = ln (3.2*x^2 + 2.3*x − 3.1)/(x^2+2.4)

(a) horizontal asymptote?

y= 1.1631

(b) v.asymptote?

dunt know which command to use for this

f(x) = sin(x) − 0.3* sin(3.6*x) + 0.2* sin(5.2*x), for x E [-Pi, Pi]

(a) the max value?

i think we use this command not to sure though

maximize(f(x), x=-Pi..Pi))

(b)points of inflection

i know we have to use the fsolve command  but it wudnt work for me

a) Determine the horizontal asymptotes ofy = f(x). Hint: At what value of u does y = ln(u) have a

(2)

a) Determine the absolute maximum value of

b) Determine all the points of inflection

Let f(x) = sin(x) 0.3* sin(3.6*x) + 0.2* sin(5.2*x), for x E [-Pi, Pi].f(x).x coordinates only) of y = f(x).

Give all numerical answers to 4 decimal places

b) Determine the vertical asymptotes of

vertical asymptote?

(1)

f(x)= ln (3.2*x^2 + 2.3*x 3.1)/(x^2+2.4)
